What is Salt Pack? What is Pepper Pack? What is Chili Pack?

If you are new to Mini it can be very confusing trying to understand the different specification used Mini’s actually have. I still get confused, so to make things easier for us all i have created this page to help summarise the different mini packs available! the packs below refer to the 2nd generation R55 & R56 mini’s but they mainly stayed the same throughout the model years (which are also explained below)

What is Salt Pack?
(Mini One) Velour floor mats, Passenger seat height adjustment, Storage compartment (glove box map pocket) Front fog lights, Silver interior trim (foc) Interior light mood pack, On board computer, Rev counter.

What is Pepper Pack?
(Mini One – Cooper – Cooper D) In addition to the Salt pack – Leather steering wheel, Heated Door mirrors, Heated washer jets, Chrome line exterior, (bumper trim-grille-tail gate handle) Bluetooth (late R56 Models only) 15″ alloy wheels, R50 models get 15″ 8 spoke alloys.

What is Chili Pack?
(Mini One – Cooper – Cooper S) – in addition to Pepper pack 16″ alloy wheels, (17″cooper s) Roof spoiler, Sport suspension, Sport seats, Half Leather seats,
Bluetooth with USB & Auto Air conditioning (late R56 models only)
R50 models get 16″ 5 star alloys, R56 models get 16″ 5 star Blaster alloy wheels.
R53 models get 17″ S spoke alloys, R56 Cooper S get 17″ Crown alloy wheels.

What is Visibility Pack?
Heated Mirrors, Auto headlights, quick clear windscreen.

TLC Pack is a service package for 5 years / 50.000 miles
TLC XL Pack is a extended service plan for 8 years / 80.000 miles.

R53 – 2002 – 2006 Mini Cooper S

R55 – 2008 + Mini Clubman & Clubman S

R56 – 2007 + Mini One, Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S

R57 – 2009 + Mini Converible

R58 – 2011 + Mini Coupe One, Cooper & Cooper S

R59 – 2011 + Mini Roadster

R60 – 2011 + Mini Countryman

R61 – 2013 Mini Paceman

F55 – 2014 Mini 5 Door

F56 – 2014 Mini 3 Door

F54 – 2015 Mini Clubman 6 Door

F57 – 2015 + Mini Cabriolet
